ALICE RIPOLL/CIA REC - ABOUT QUESTIONS, SHAMES AND SCARS

The invitation to discuss about Brazil, this surrealist giant, sad and complex, has forced us to face the torsions and distortions of our history. The work arises from our reflections on the relationships between a group that has a director and dancers from very different realities that reflect a Brazil of severe social inequalities. Talking about some of our works and issues that have permeated our processes, we have been tracing a narrative about Brazil stitching our performance "aCORdo", Bolsonaro's fascist policy and COVID-19, and the issues that these events raised in the group.
