Les 3 points de suspension (CH)
Why is there something instead of nothing? Is the universe truly infinite?
Did we come from a garden that has long since disappeared, or did we come from cabbages, apes or amoebas?
Since the dawn of humanity, mankind has created myths and stories to shape its beliefs and convictions. Doing so allowed humans to deal with the dizzying heights of its ignorance. “Looking for Paradise” is born from the gaps inherent to this yearning; it is born from the art of mentally concocting something out the nothing left behind by our answerless questions.
In this treasure hunt, spontaneous moments transform an urban space into a theatre stage, where hints and experiences abound, ushering the participants into the Paradise state of mind.
“Looking for Paradise” suggests taking a step back to explore all the ways we perceive, constrict and construct our realities.
By playfully using great metaphysical questions to perform an ode to joy, “Looking for Paradise” opens the floodgates to our collective unconscious. The piece invites us to surf the waves and forever transform the absurd quest that is life into a wonderful cruise.
“Looking for Paradise” is the first instalment of Paradise, a series of mechanisms, performances and spectacles that question our relationship between the conscious and the unconscious.
