Family Workshop

The Twisted Nail

The handypersons of The Twisted Nail invite you to create objects using recycled wooden pallets. You’ll work with saws, small hand drills, crankshafts, planes, hammers, nails and some elbow grease to make original creations with reclaimed wood. An added bonus: you can screen print directly on your pieces!

It will be a festive atmosphere – a world of pallets with hand drill tournaments, nail driving, a pallet playground, and tons of music blaring from a custom disco caravan!

You’ll create with old school tools and more classic ones – no machines, just good old elbow grease! During the workshop, a bunch of wacky games—made of pallets, of course!—will be available to everyone.

Outside the Box

Never Bored With Cardboard!

This workshop invites you to create objects with recycled food packaging. Design and make your original piece by printing, cutting, folding, fitting-together, or die cutting on old pieces of cardboard. You can even screen print on your masterpiece!

Screen printing will be of cut shapes (games, paper toys, planes, decorative objects) on food packaging.
